When ye pray, say “Thy Kingdom Come” by Clinton David

In such a crucial time in our pilgrim journey, the Lord wants us to pray – Thy kingdom come.

“For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink: but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost.” Romans 14:17

When the kingdom of God comes, the evidence is righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost. God’s peace is beyond the ephemeral peace of the world and the joy in the Holy Ghost is not tied to worldly success and accomplishment.

Righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Ghost that’s the kingdom of God. Don’t you want to be a part of the kingdom? The effects of righteousness are: Stability, fruitfulness, scfe2Quietness in the heart and soul, assurance forever, peace, judgement, dwelling in peaceable habitation, sure dwellings, quiet resting places. (Isaiah 32:17-18)

The kingdom of God does not come by wishful thinking or luck, it is as a result of deliberate efforts. The only obstacle to thy kingdom come is you.

The Lord’s promises will come to pass but He needs us to enquire of him for them to come. It should be our utmost desire that the Lord’s kingdom come. What is your utmost desire? The Lord has set us as watchmen and we should never hold our peace day or night, until righteousness goes forth as brightness and salvation as a lamp that burns. (Isaiah 62:1-7)

KEEP NOT SILENT! Irrespective of how long it takes.
