It’s always a beautiful experience to see a new year. It comes with a sweet feeling of hope and a desire to be more. However, in many years, nothing is truly new about the year thus; it’s a mere change in number with the old experiences.
In the day to day activities of people you still see their old wine skin. They import stale habits and lifestyle from the preceding year.
Many carry prayerlessness to the new year
They bring Immorality, Falsehood, idolatry, lasciviousness and other traits of the old man.
Let’s consider this as we pray together.
In this new year:
Will your prayer life be better?
Will you seek God harder?
Will you live a life consecrated to God in purity?
Will you give to the poor and needy?
Will you prevail over the besetting sin trying to deprive you of your fellowship with God?
Will you stop quarreling with your spouse and colleague?
Will you keep lying to your parents?
Will you stay away from fraudulent activities?
Will you wholeheartedly obey the voice of God?
It’s my sincere prayer that in this new year by the help of the Holy Spirit a new you shall be birthed!!
Let us pray
